Amber Folkman is a lover of places. After spending her childhood in Northern California she flew off to Hawaii for university with a pit stop in Seattle before settling down in Manila since 2009. Ambers love of places most likely comes from living in unique towns and cities around the globe.

With a short five year career as a teacher, Amber found herself deep in motherhood and a desire to find personal fulfillment beyond just her home. Eventually her social media platform, amommabroad.com, was started in 2015 and has grown into the cross culture community it is today. Amber focuses on sharing positivity and the daily magic of life in Manila.

Amber is a transformative coach and facilitates monthly workshops focused on place attachment. A place is nothing in itself, it's what we make of it.
