Being Argentinian and Italian, born in Kinshasa (DRC) and having lived in Switzerland, Haiti, Colombia, Germany, India and now Viet Nam, Lucila has developed an open mindset and learned not only about the diversity of cultures and languages (mother tongue is Spanish; fluent in English and French, good level in German and knowledge of Portuguese and Italian) but the value of education, equality and integration to access to the same opportunities.
In terms of academic and professional profile, Lucila has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Master in Human Rights and Democratisation in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a thesis in Migration. She has more than 15 years of work experience in international affairs, Media and Communication Consultancy. In that span of time, Lucila has worked in the Headquarters of Deutsche Welle TV (Germany’s international broadcaster), in Berlin, as international news reporter; in New Delhi as Correspondent for DW TV (Spanish Signal); in Bogota as Columnist in El Espectador (Newspaper) and Editor of International Affairs News in RCN Television; and in Estudio de Comunicación, in Buenos Aires, as a Communication Senior Advisor.
Based on her multicultural educational and professional background and with strong interpersonal skills, expertise to work on Communication Strategies, knowledge in International Affairs, Media and Human Rights issues and its challenges, Lucila has a personal commitment to build a better world for everyone.
